Partnerships with @TeacherToolkit

Reach thousands of teachers through our weekly newsletter.

TeacherToolkit is one of the UK’s most trusted platforms for teachers and school leaders. Since 2010, the platform has supported millions of educators with practical classroom strategies, resources and professional insights. Today, our most valuable channel is our email community of over 45,000 active teachers, built from a wider database of more than 155,000 educators. Each newsletter consistently reaches:

  • 32% average open rate (≈ 15,000 teachers reading each issue)
  • 5% click-through rate (≈ 2,500 teachers engaging with links)

That’s the equivalent of a large conference hall of teachers actively engaging with every newsletter we send. We offer a limited number of newsletter partner opportunities for organisations working in education that want to share tools, resources, research, or events directly with our audience.

Some of our VIP partnerships ...

@TeacherToolkit maintains a unique voice in education, reaching teachers from every country worldwide (exc. North Korea!). We have ½ million social followers and our email database has reached 160,000 registered users in five years. Our clients span large businesses, from the Department for Education and all major charities to Microsoft, Amazon, the RSA and the BBC, Samsung, and smaller education startups in the education-technology market.

As a grassroots platform for teachers, we believe our worldwide reach is unique, with an authentic voice, and is the perfect match for clients who want their resources seen and used by teachers.

Organisations discover us organically through Google search, AI generative search engine tools and teacher word-of-mouth recommendations; @TeacherToolkit consistently ranks on the first page for many keyword search topics across education. Here are some examples of our work:

We are proud that our sponsored content represents less than 5% of everything we publish, helping us maintain authenticity, whilst keeping the platform open access.

Our clients say

Beth, Pupil Progress

Working with Ross is both fun and valuable, particularly if you’re a business, brand or school looking to generate influence, brand awareness and brand credibility. It got us noticed and placed us front of mind. Ross’s reputation in education is highly regarded and, because of that, we secured some leading names in the sector for our live webinar’s speaker panel, hosted by Ross.

Beth, marketing director, Pupil Progress

We partnered with @TeacherToolkit on a bespoke marketing campaign to help us reach more schools. We generated over 3.4 million impressions; it was amazing!

James, Lexonik

We established goals and content early on and the team at Teacher Toolkit quickly started making said content for us. Everything we spoke about was delivered on time and they checked in with us frequently about the direction they were going in and the results they were achieving. As a marketing department we're used to creating everything in house, so the ability the Teacher Toolkit team had to understand our brand and create effective content not only impressed us, but aided massively with workload and capacity.

Partnerships with @TeacherToolkit

Rewind to 2007, long before anyone knew what the term influencer meant, our founder Ross McGill started receiving enquiries from companies asking him to share their products, create adverts, or endorse resources on his popular blog and Twitter channel. Fast forward almost 20 years, and Ross has now grown a small team, working with some of the UK's biggest organisations.

In April 2025, Ross was invited by the Cabinet Office and the Department for Education to visit Number 10 Downing Street to share his social media expertise.

The purpose was to help raise awareness of Labour's opportunity mission, across 12 months.

Why work with us?

Imagine a series of blog posts, all organically written and pre-AI, containing over 2 million words all about education.

Now, can you imagine reading one of these blog posts for just 75 seconds? It doesn't sound like a long period of time, but do you think you could scroll over this webpage for 75 seconds, and then go on to read 2-3 other pages? Well, our 20+ million readers do.

Can you imagine the busy working life of a teacher?

We can. We have lived it, and this is why we are really proud in today's attention economy to attract some of the busiest people in society for a whopping 75 seconds. We have achieved this for at least a decade!
