Description

This resource introduces you to the seminal research published by John Hattie, Visible Learning: The Sequel – a synthesis of over 2,100 meta-analyses relating to achievement.

It’s worth noting that a meta-analysis is the process of synthesising research results into a single effect size estimate, providing a macro overview of countless studies, and understanding the factors that influence student achievement. Hattie emphasizes the importance of teachers being able to see learning through the eyes of their students and students seeing themselves as their own teachers.

Please note, that not all the ideas improve student outcomes, so it is always worth being aware of the research and understanding the full context before making any changes to your practice.
