Description
The Revision Revolution by Helen Howell and Ross Morrison McGill has transformed the study culture of several schools across England.
If we truly want to ‘level up’ post-pandemic, whilst funding can make some difference, there are some key strategies teachers can start to use in the classroom that have an impact. The Revision Revolution is a joint call to action for teachers across the country to start refining how they teach and shape professional development for themselves and the other people around them; to design a whole-school approach to improving the quality of teaching.
This training will show teachers how to modify their curriculum to match cognitive science recommendations, including practical techniques for the classroom. Ross has spent the last 15 years reading, writing and teaching other teachers about neuroeducation, condensing theory into a practical tips. The Revision Revolution is a popular teacher training day.
What we’ve taken away from Ross is how we can look at revision on lots of different levels
