What is instructional coaching?
I've taken a closer look at the seminal work by Jim Knight, a research associate at the University of Kansas Centre for Research on Learning.
Instructional coaching is a process whereby a teacher works with a coach to improve his or her teaching skills. The coach provides feedback and support to the teacher, who then uses this information to improve his or her practice.
Two clear differences
However, there are some subtle differences to what most teachers might know about 'coaching' in general.
There are also two clear differences between facilitative coaching - working
