Nathan was a teacher at an academy in a disadvantaged borough of London for two years. He took pride in inspiring young minds of the future to take up a love of learning. During his time in class, he witnessed the importance of education for children from difficult backgrounds. He also experienced the difficulties that teachers and schools can face in trying to provide children with the best opportunity in life. These experiences led him to study an MA in Education, Policy and Society at King's College London, where he is enjoying learning about policy and its impact on schools, teachers and students. Prior to entering teaching he studied Politics and Sociology at Nottingham Trent University. Outside of education, Nathan is involved in grassroots politics for his local community and is an avid supporter of his beloved local football team, AFC Wimbledon.
