Have you registered to see what your students do with a tenner?

Tenner Challenge is Young Enterprise’s FREE national challenge which helps to develop employability skills for students aged 11 to 19 years. The challenge provides a highly interactive experience for students to develop employability skills, resilience and problem solving, using real money within a supported learning environment.

Tenner is an original way of creating a fun learning activity by encouraging the fearless spirit of young entrepreneurs.

Why sign up?

Tenner supports schools by providing learning opportunities that develop young people’s competencies and skills for life in the work place. Taking part can support the curriculum requirements for a broad range of subjects including English and mathematics. Plus there are FREE competitions to motivate and inspire your students.

Finalists will be invited to attend an iconic London venue for the Tenner Awards Ceremony in May 2018.

So how does it work?

Students are pledged £10 and have one month to set up a student business – coming up with an idea of a product or service they can sell and gain first-hand experience  of what it’s like to be an entrepreneur.

And it’s so easy – Tenner will provide free easy to access online teacher and student resources and videos with tips on how to get started, inspirational case studies and guidance to plan and run the challenge successfully – helping to provide motivation and inspiration! A great way to keep everyone on track from start to finish.

Taking part in the Challenge provides practical opportunities to broaden the enterprise and careers curriculum and allows young people to discover for themselves what it means to be enterprising.

Sign up now!

Registrations close on 19th February – so don’t miss out – sign up today.
