The Educational Blog Awards of 2014 are open and my former nominations for 2013 are here. I have listed my top educational blogs here and will update these shortly. My nominations for 2014 are as follows …

“The Edublog Awards started in 2004 in response to community concerns relating to how schools, [councils] and educational institutions were blocking access of learner and teacher blog sites for educational purposes. The purpose of the Edublog awards is promote and demonstrate the educational values of [teachers and schools connecting via] social media.”

To nominate your favourites:

1. Make your official nominations using this form here.
2. Write a post with your nominations on your own blog (like this) and share the post using #eddies14

Nomination Tips:

1. You can nominate in as many categories as you want.
2. But, you can only make one nomination per category.
3. You can’t nominate yourself!
4. Even if you see your favourite blog/blogger/tweeter has already been nominated, it is best to nominate them again.
5. Categories are competitive, and only the most nominated will make it to the voting round.
