Research Framework Matrix

This 11-page PDF file helps teachers access research methods, tactics and techniques to help understand what academic frameworks have been used in published work. It is also useful to help teachers develop more rigorous approaches to action research in the classroom.

The matrix will also help identify positivism and subjectivism approaches used when evaluating any published research.

I would recommend reading Classroom-based Research and Evidence-based Practice by S.K. Taber (2013) to access further details. It would also be helpful to understand definitions when exploring research tactics and techniques used. This final matrix template should be used to identify which methods have been used.

This document has been influenced by the above book and my doctoral research.
