We are very proud to have been nominated by you in the UK Blog Awards for the second year running! This year we have been nominated in the company category in the ‘education sector’, and after being lucky enough to be crowned Highly Commended last year, we’d very much like to win next year.

Secondly, we all know blogging now influences much of what we do, we only need to consider food, fashion and politics to see what an influence individuals are having on national debate – and we are all so very new to this. We believe we give teachers a professional platform from which to be heard – now with 35 teachers writing inside this site – curated to make the complicated world of teaching a little more simple to navigate, we provide teachers with access to resources that are meaningful for their classroom. We support teachers across the world, and although we have much to do to widen our content to support policies in other countries, our resources are international. We continue to promote the community by challenging policy, guidance and publications and are also starting to develop a forum for parents and students – written by teachers – to guide them through school life.
Over 8 million hits from one blogger’s spare bedroom. Imagine what we can still do when we are pushing out more resources and opinion? We just need your vote of support to give us that platform we need and that vote of confidence.
