Teacher Network review of 2012: our 10 best blogs of the year.

A collection of our most popular, most debated and favourite pieces, here’s the GTN team’s top blogs of the year.

I am delighted to have been selected by The Guardian Teacher Network, for the Top 10 most popular blogs of 2012! An achievement indeed. I can only set out to consider my own new writing targets for 2013… A book? A controversial blog? A front-page Guardian publication?

…If I told you I had a fear of spelling, punctuation and grammar, would you believe me? I cannot recall ever having specific literacy lessons as a child in order to help me achieve. Of course, I learnt how to read and write, but in terms of verbs, adjectives, connectives and so on… I cannot recall this ever! Perhaps attending 4 primary schools and 3 secondary schools may have been my debilitating factor?

If I can do it, so can you!
